Abuse and takedown policy

What this site is

A tool that turns a headline, a description and an image into a short link. The link shows that text as a chat preview and then plays a music video. Every link points at this site only — it cannot be pointed at another destination.

What is not allowed

Links made here may not be used for harassment or targeting a specific person, impersonating a real person, company or public body, anything that asks a stranger for money, passwords, card details or personal data, adult content, illegal content, or bulk creation intended to spam a channel.

What we do not build

No custom destination URLs, no redirect chains, no fake login screens, no credential or payment fields, no advertising, no tracking scripts and no analytics beyond a cookieless page count. Templates are fictional and never name a real brand.

How to report a link

Email report@rickrollmaker.comwith the full link (it starts with /r/), what is wrong with it, and how you are connected to the situation if that matters. You do not need an account, and you do not need to explain why the joke annoyed you — report the ones that break the rules above.

What happens next

A link that breaks these rules is removed, usually within hours. The address then shows a plain "this link was removed" page instead of the video, and it stays removed — links are never edited in place or restored. We keep a short log of each report so we can answer a platform or regulator that asks what was done and when.

Limits

The video is an embedded YouTube player, so YouTube serves it and sees the request the way it would on any site. This page describes our own practice; it is not legal advice, and it does not replace the law in your country.
